Marina Lodi
I was born with a pencil in my hand and I grew up creating and experimenting.
Paintings, drawings, sculptures, mosaics, and ceramic, but also make-up, photography, and video-making. I was always looking for new artistic fields that could fill my head as much as my hands.
When I discovered special effects, all of the artistic disciplines that I’ve experimented with, magically collided into one direction: using sculpture to achieve prosthetics, using paint to color silicon bits, and chemistry to treat materials…
There is a whole world of knowledge about special effects, and I am ready to make it mine.
